Niykee has experienced an eventful few years, including being chosen by Snoop to perform with him at The YouTube Brandcast May 2013 Niykee keeps a steady songwriting schedule despite all this. She is a constant magnet to producers just starting out. Many of the beats she hears from producers spark songs. She says that she can determine if the beat is a good one in less than 5 seconds. And then, a brand new track will come into her mind. While I play the guitar on my front porch the words begin to flow. Most of the time it is done in about 30 minutes. Niykee says that when she develops as a lyricist and musician, her memories of her childhood serve as an inspiratoin. Although I don't write in a literal way about what has happened to me all the pain of my childhood and the loss of my sister end up getting pushed into my songs, she states. It influences my lyrics and gives them a deeper significance. To me, it is the most important factor for success.
