Bellamy Young

Young began her acting career in the field of acting the theatre. As Mary in The Life's initial cast, Young made her Broadway premiere in the role of Mary in the musical on Broadway in 1997. Also, she performed off-Broadway in Stephensondheim's musical Merrily We Roll Along (1994), and the show of Randy Newman, Faust (1995-1996). She made her first appearance on TV in 1995 as the character Dr. Courtney Evans. She appeared in Law & Order as a guest actor in two roles in 1997 and in 1998. In 1999, she made her movie debut with a minor role in the crime drama Black and White and later was a co-star in a number of independent films. The actress began guest-starring on TV comedies and dramas at the start of the 2000s. These were among them The Drew Carey Show and The X Files. Between 2000 and the year 2011, Young appeared in more than 30 guest appearances on television shows. Young was among the actors who appeared regularly on Peacemakers, a USA Network television series that was aired in 2003. After nine episodes, the series was cancelled after just one season. The actress played the role of the role of Deputy Dist. on The Lifetime series For the People. Atty.
